Hi, I’m Rachael - The Embodiment Doula.
Hi, I’m Rachael — The Embodiment Doula.
Most people call me Ra — a name that carries both strength and softness. Some hear it as “Rah,” others as “Rae.” Both feel true to me, and women often sense which fits naturally when they say it.
Women come to this work during seasons of transition, tenderness, or awakening.
My role is to support you in returning to the wisdom of your body — to the truth beneath the surface — and to create a steady, relational space where insight can unfold with clarity, compassion, and care.
This work is not about becoming someone new.
It’s about coming home to who you already are.
Begin with a simple embodied practice
My Path
My path began in 2007 as a massage and bodywork therapist, where I first learned to listen to the body — its signals, its stories, and its quiet intelligence. Over time, this work expanded into craniosacral therapy, somatic practice, breathwork, energy medicine, and trauma-sensitive presence.
A significant part of what shaped my devotion to this work has been my own lived experience. Through navigating early trauma and complex relational dynamics, I learned firsthand what it means to rebuild safety, coherence, and voice from the inside out. These experiences deeply inform how I pace sessions, hold space, and remain attentive to each woman’s nervous system and capacity.
I came to understand the body not simply as a physical structure, but as a living archive — holding memory, emotion, pattern, intuition, and the potential for profound repair and reorganization. Every training, study, and lived inquiry deepened my respect for the body as a wise and responsive guide.
My path has woven through plant medicine, spiritual practice, relational communication, tantra and embodiment, purification work, and a deep commitment to Christ-centered love and integrity. These threads now live together as one integrated body of work — grounded, relational, somatic, and spiritually rooted.
For more than a decade, I’ve walked beside women returning to their bodies, their truth, and their inner authority. The Embodiment Doula was born from this devotion.

Somatic Specialties:
My approach is grounded, intuitive, and relational.
I work with rhythm, pacing, and attuned presence — allowing each session to unfold within a clear container, while remaining responsive to what is alive in your system.
I meet each woman where she is - without pressure, without performance, and without agenda.
I listen for what the body is saying beneath the mind.
I hold a space where insight can rise, emotion can move, and your system can find its own way back to coherence.
This work is gentle, honest, and deeply embodied.
It honors your story, your nervous system, and the truth your body has been carrying.
My Approach
Who I Serve:
I support women in seasons of transition, unraveling, rebirth, and remembering - women who are ready to meet themselves honestly and move toward a more connected, grounded, and aligned life.
Many of the women who come to me are navigating:
a shift in identity or purpose
a relationship ending or beginning
the resurfacing of old patterns or wounds
burnout, numbness, or emotional shutdown
a desire to return to their bodies after years of survival mode
the quiet knowing that something deeper is asking to be felt
Some arrive in a moment of tender breaking.
Others arrive in a moment of awakening.
Wherever you are in your cycle of healing, you may be sensing that a shift is asking to happen — one that feels ready to be met with care, honesty, and support.
